About the Banking Suite User Guide

This Advanced Banking User Guide provides a conceptual and operational description of the Extension created by FUJIFILM Microchannel, to be used with Dynamics 365 Business Central Online (also known as Cloud or SaaS).

The material can be used both in the context of an instructor-led training course and as a reference material for self-learning.

Target Audience

This training material is primarily intended for business partners of FUJIFILM Microchannel who are implementing D365 Business Central for their clients. It can also be used by end users to understand how the Banking Suite works in D365 Business Central.

Material Overview

The material consists of the following chapters:

  • Chapter 1: BPAY Payment
  • Chapter 2: BPAY Receipt
  • Chapter 3: Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)
  • Chapter 4: Direct Debit
  • Chapter 5: Direct Credit (DC)
  • Chapter 6: All Payment Type (APT)

In this material, chapters are organized in a manner that reflect the product application modules available in Banking Suite. Within each chapter, information is presented on a selected process that can be carried out in the respective application module.

Demonstration Data

All examples in this material are based on a fictitious company provided by Microsoft, Cronus AU, and is intended to integrate with the demonstration data of the base application.

Demonstration data can be used as an example of how to set up the Banking Suite in Business Central. It can also use be used to work through the examples in this user guide.

Install Banking Suite Extension

Banking Suite extension is published for D365 Business Central by FUJIFILM Microchannel. The Banking Suite extension can be installed from the AppSource within your client’s D365 Business Central Online environment.

Before you proceed with installing Banking Suite, please contact FUJIFILM MicroChannel to request for an activation of the licence by providing the following information:

  1. Tenant ID
  2. Domain Name
  3. Customer Name

The following is the procedure to install the Banking Suite extension to standard D365 Business Central Online environment:

  1. Log into D365 Business Central Online tenant.
  2. Search and Open the Microsoft AppSource apps page.
  3. Search for FUJIFILM MicroChannel Banking Suite app using the search bar at the top right of the screen. Select “Install App” and the right language to begin with the installation of the app.

  1. After the app has been installed, you can find the licence information including the version and the expiration date under MicroChannel – App License Information fast tab in the Advanced Banking Company Setup page.

Define Local Bank

  1. Search and open the Advanced Banking Company Setup page.
  2. In the Local Banking Country field under General fast tab, select the correct local country from the drop-down options.
